Max had surgery

As you know, Max has had this mysterious swollen lymph node under his right jaw for months now. After three rounds of antibiotics we finally had a large mass surgically removed, biopsied, and sent to a lab for a thorough analysis. The good news is that the biopsy came back negative for lymphoma and additional masses were discovered and removed as well. We are waiting to find out if another condition may be causing these lymph node masses. There are not the type that just get big and then go away. Max had a drainage tube attached to his neck so he stayed the night. We got back tonight and are packing like crazy to head up to Oregon!
Max once we got to our room. So tired and in pain. :(

The tube collecting the drainage from his neck.

Max didn't like me taking his picture.

Cuddle bugs

All better today! He woke up happy.

Thanks for all the prayers and kind words.

Wow. I am so glad to hear that everything went well. No complications and all results negative! High FIVE to Max!

The poor little guy though. That drainage tube looks awful.

How long will you guys be in OR? Are you planning to drive or fly? Have a fun trip.
